Axia Blue Line is designed to add usable speed and dependable power while keeping trimming approachable across changing conditions.
Code 50, Code 60 and Code 70 cover progressively broader reaching roles, while symmetrical and asymmetrical spinnakers serve deeper angles.
Luff technology, furling systems or spinnaker socks are matched to the chosen model, yacht, crew and intended wind range.
Axia Blue Line
Axia Blue Line is the current Ullman cruising range for Code sails and symmetrical and asymmetrical spinnakers. Each model has a distinct role and must be specified for the individual yacht.
Purpose-built for cruising sailors who prioritize dependable downwind performance and approachable handling.
Code 50, Code 60 and Code 70 are differentiated by mid-girth and progressively broader target angles.
Custom symmetrical and asymmetrical spinnakers extend the inventory into deeper downwind sailing.
Axia combines Active Luff™ development with proven cable-based options; the correct solution depends on the model.
Ullman identifies Code Zero laminate and nylon spinnaker cloth as core Axia material families.
Shape, size, cloth and handling systems are selected for the yacht and the owner’s requirements.
Axia Blue Line
Axia Blue Line combines model-specific material, luff and handling choices. Code sails and classic spinnakers do not share one universal construction.
Axia sails use Code Zero laminate or nylon spinnaker cloth depending on the selected Code or spinnaker model.
The Axia range includes Active Luff™ development and proven cable-based solutions; the appropriate construction is selected for the sail’s role.
Blue Line prioritizes ease of use, durability and dependable downwind performance rather than a race-only specification.
Furling equipment or a spinnaker sock may simplify handling, but compatibility depends on the selected model and must be confirmed with the loft.
Cloth weight, size, reinforcement, graphics and wind limits vary by boat and sail; the loft documents the final specification.
Axia models have different geometries and uses; no single construction applies to the entire range:
Axia Code 50: 50–60% mid-girth
Axia Code 60: 60–70% mid-girth
Axia Code 70: 70–80% mid-girth
Axia Symmetrical: custom sail for a spinnaker pole
Axia Asymmetrical: 80–97% mid-girth
Code Zero laminate or nylon spinnaker cloth by model

Axia Blue Line
Configuration depends on the selected Axia model, yacht, crew and handling preference.
Select a compatible furling solution or spinnaker sock with the loft according to the sail model and crew.
The appropriate Active Luff™ or cable-based solution is selected for the chosen Code sail and its target use.
Cloth type, weight, dimensions and wind limits are specified for the yacht and intended apparent-wind range.
Graphics and identification details may be added where compatible with the material and construction.
50–60% mid-girth screecher for close reaching. Ullman lists a typical target of 65–80° TWA in 5–10 knots TWS, with broader angles as wind increases.
60–70% mid-girth reaching to broad-reaching sail, normally sheeted outside the cap shrouds. In lighter wind it can work below 95° TWA.
70–80% mid-girth furling asymmetric spinnaker for reaching. Ullman lists light-air angles below 110° TWA, broadening as wind increases.
A custom symmetrical downwind spinnaker for boats equipped with a spinnaker pole.
An 80–97% mid-girth all-purpose asymmetric spinnaker for reaching through running. The wind limit depends on the yacht and cloth selection.
